Pre-Construction Site Assessment Reports

These reports protect the licensee from problems that existed prior to construction-and Alberta Environment requests that landowners receive a copy. These reports provides pre-disturbance
soil conditions, including topsoil depths, admixing, structure, erosion potential, and salinity, thus guiding proper lifting of topsoil during site construction.

  • Other issues that are addressed in the report include:
  • land use
  • poor growth areas
  • weeds
  • landowner concerns
  • drainage concerns
  • recommendations for proper construction and reclamation.

Phase I Environmental Site Assessment
